Earlier work has included large scale landscapes which are concerned with the space between the urban and the industrial, closely cropped portraits rendered almost anonymous through lack of peripheral information and loaded imagery of wires and of tablet packets. Recent drawings and paintings reference these earlier works with the inclusion of portraits within nichos (Mexican, reliquary box frames) and still lifes within landscapes. The work is at once familiar and unfamiliar with a strongly suggested but unresolved narrative.
